Server Migration Update

In December 2021 and January 2022, the American Library Association offered free RDA Toolkit demos in the French and Spanish languages respectively.
In October, Melissa Parent (State Library of Victoria, Australia) presented the ALA Digital Reference webinar RDA Application Profiles: A Practical Guide for the Perplexed.
From July through September, ALA Digital Reference partnered with RDA catalogers in Egypt, Finland, Quebec, Ontario, and the U.S.
The migration of RDA Toolkit and the original RDA Toolkit to new servers will not occur during the week of October 25th, as previously planned. It is not clear when exactly the migration will occur, but it is expected to move before the end of 2021. You can learn more about the migration and its impact here.

Recordings our new available for our two free webinars held July 16th and August 4th respectively. Led by ALA Digital Reference Director James Hennelly, the first free webinar was a one-hour RDA Toolkit Demo covering RDA Toolkit releases and updates introduced since the last demo was presented in January.
