Online resources about cataloguing and data creation using RDA exist to support teaching and training activities. We welcome suggestions for new resources or events to include on this page.
Eliza Sze, Education and Orientation Officer, created and shared RDA Toolkit teaching slides and templates to be accessed and used for free online here.
The RSC is pleased to announce the publication of its first set of Template RDA Teaching Slides (download here).
The National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa has announced that beginning August 1, 2024, they are using the Official RDA Toolkit to describe print and digital monographs and are aiming to describe all formats using the Official RDA Toolkit by the end of this year.
With many catalogers and metadata specialists working remotely these days, some may find that they have a bit more time on their hands and have an inkling to dive into a topic that has been put off for awhile. This might be an opportune time to dive into the 3R project and the beta RDA Toolkit.
