This week the RSC was able to discharge the Extent Working Group, as it passes the baton to the String Encoding Scheme Working Group, whose first duty will be to see the Extent proposals through to completion.
RDA Examples Editor Jessica Grzegorski (pictured) has introduced a proposal on which feedback is requested ahead of the Public Session of the RSC in July.
At yesterday's RSC Public Session, voting members of the RSC approved RSC/TechnicalWG/2026/1 (with amendments proposed by RSC/TechnicalWG/2026/1/NARDAC) and RSC/TechnicalWG/2026/2 (with amendments proposed by RSC/TechnicalWG/2026/2/ORDAC).
As shared in yesterday's Public Session, the Archives Working Group is conducting a survey of Archives to gain an understanding of their awareness and use (or otherwise) of RDA.
