Following a very successful recruitment process, the RDA Steering Committee (RSC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Jessica Grzegorski to follow Honor Moody as RDA Examples Editor.
The RDA Steering Committee is pleased to announce that its Education and Orientation Officer role has been approved by the RDA Board to become a permanent position on the RSC after a two-year co-option. Elisa Sze, who has been serving in this role, has agreed to extend her term through to December 2025.
The RDA Steering Committee (RSC) is pleased to announce that Charlene Chou has accepted an offer to continue in her role as its Wider Community Engagement Officer (WCEO), and has been re-appointed for a further term until December 2025.

At its meeting in October, the RDA Steering Committee (RSC) confirmed the dates of its meetings for 2024 as follows:
29 January to 1 February 2024, asynchronously, with an online Public Session on 30 January, 9-11pm CET.
15-18 April 2024, asynchronously, with an online Public Session on 16 April, 9-11pm CEST.
James Hennelly, director of RDA Toolkit, will host a free webinar on December 19th. He will review recent updates to the Toolkit and preview some changes that will appear in the next year. Half the allotted time will be held open for questions from attendees. The webinar will be recorded and posted to the RDA Toolkit YouTube channel.

The North American RDA Committee (NARDAC) Update Forum is an event aimed at bringing together experts in the field of library and information science to present/discuss developments in RDA and RDA related cataloging work.
