RSC Chair Renate Behrens is looking forward to welcoming online observers to the Public Session Wednesday 22 January 2025 at 7pm UTC (There is a handy time converter here).

As well as the usual updates from RSC members, there will be a live demo of the RDA DACH Manual by Michaela Edelmann and Mathias Manecke from the DNB (Deutsche Nationalbibliothek). This is in response to requests following our last Public Session in November, at which Renate Behrens herself presented on the DACH Region's Projekt 3R-DACH-Bib, which made it the first to implement Official RDA. (If you missed the November Public Session, there is a YouTube recording available here. It includes Renate's presentation and others by Charlotte Christensen on the National Library of New Zealand's implementation of Official RDA and by Sally McCallum, Paul Frank and Kevin Ford (Library of Congress) on BIBFRAME with RDA).
