The RDA Board is pleased to announce the results of the recent appointments process which was undertaken at the end of 2016. This marks the formal adoption of the new governance structure by the Board and in particular a change from specific constituents being represented on Board to National Institution Representatives for each region.
The RDA Steering Committee (RSC) will meet twice in 2017.
The first meeting will take place on May 17-19 2017 in Chicago, USA, at ALA Headquarters.
The second meeting will take place in Madrid, Spain, at Biblioteca Nacional de España. Dates for the three-day meeting in October or early November 2017 will be announced in due course.

Daniel Paradis has been appointed as the Translations Team Liaison Officer on the RDA Steering Committee (RSC), effective December 1, 2016. This appointment is another step in the expansion of governance planned for the RSC, and is the first of the new specialist officer roles to be activated.
