On April 30, there will be a major update to the RDA Toolkit BETA site that will include a stabilized version of the English test as well as added and improved functionality to the BETA site. On Thursday, February 21st, a new release of the RDA Toolkit beta site was posted. In addition to fixed links, corrected typos and other minor changes to the text, the release also includes several significant changes to the site display and functionality. Here some of the key changes.
This Wednesday evening (December 12th) an update to the beta site will introduce changes to the appellation elements as well as a range of other corrections and revision to other files.
An international group of librarians met in Mexico City earlier this month to discuss RDA and its future in Latin America.
This week a new release was published to the RDA Toolkit beta site. The release included a wide range of changes to RDA content--corrections to typos and format issues, edits for consistency and clarity, as well as additions of new or further developed text.
The next release to the RDA Toolkit beta site was expected to be ready in late September. However, the release will be delayed to October 9th in order to include a substantial update to the MARC 21 mapping, in both content and display. The display change will include organizing the mappings into separate ordered lists for bibliographic and authority mappings.
