RDA: Think Globally, Act Locally

The RDA Steering Committee (RSC) and Die Österreichische Bibliothekenverbund und Service GMbH (OBVSG) are delighted to invite participants to a training event on Monday 16 October 2023, 1-4pm.

Speakers and topics include: Barbara Pfeiffer on RDA DACH; Christoph Steiger on RDA in Austria; Elisa Sze on Planning to Teach RDA; Honor Moody on Developing Examples in RDA; and Damian Iseminger on RDA Elements. There will also be an opportunity to find out more about the new Community Resources section of the RDA Toolkit from James Hennelly, the Director of ALA Digital Reference. The panels will be chaired by Ahava Cohen, RDA Regional Representative for Europe, and Charlene Chou, Wider Community Engagement Officer.

The half-day event will take place in English in the offices of OBVSG: Raimundgasse 1/3, A-1020 Wien.
