Content Updates
The release included corrections, revised examples, and other Fast Track changes from the JSC. Details on these February changes are available in RSC/Sec/1 on the RSC site. The release also included revisions to the French and German versions of RDA. Revisions to the German language translation put it in line with the English-language RDA as of the October 2015 release. Details of French translation revisions for the February release are here. Revisions to English language MARC/RDA mappings will be included. The release contained updates to Library of Congress-Program for Cooperative Cataloging Policy Statements (LC-PCC PS), Music Library Association Best Practices (MLA BP--details here), and National Library of Australia Policy Statements (NLAPS), as well as policy statements from Committee for Library Standards for the application of RDA in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, known as Anwendungsrichtlinien (D-A-CH AWRs). A complete list of the revised LC-PCC PSs is available on the Library of Congress website.
Development Updates
A French translation of the MARC/RDA bibliographic and authority mappings were added to the Toolkit.
