RSC Recruitments Underway

The RDA Steering Committee is looking for a Wider Community Engagement Officer for a two-year, part-time appointment beginning in early 2018.

We hope to find an energized and experienced individual who is knowledgable about RDA and its current development, and has a track record of presenting RDA information to groups. Fluency in more than one language is desirable.

The two key responsibilities of the position are to coordinate the user responses to the redesigned RDA Toolkit and to disseminate information about the new Toolkit.

This position will provide the successful applicant with valuable developmental experience in an international arena as well as a unique and exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the team responsible for leading the development of RDA, the global standard enabling discovery of content.

While the position is unpaid, the RDA Fund will cover travel and subsistence expenses for meetings.

The RSC is also accepting applications for the position of RSC Chair. The term will include one year as Chair-Elect (2018) and a four-year term as Chair (2019-2022). Only current RSC members and RSC Working Group Chairs are eligible to apply for this position.
